Leighton Beach Surf Lesson

Our Leighton Beach Surf Lesson is our popular beginner to intermediate surf lesson that is designed for beginner surfers wanting to see if surfing is for them, or another activity to tick off your bucket list. And intermediate surfers wanting to get to that next stage of catching ‘green’ waves.

Every winter, June to September we move our surf lessons to Leighton Beach for safety reasons (the waves are too big at Scarborough Beach in winter to learn).

Leighton Beach is only 15 minutes drive south of Scarborough along the coast and the waves at Leighton Beach are perfect for learning how to surf, with gentle winter conditions.

We provide brand new 4mm thick O’Neill winter wetsuits so you won’t get cold!

This Beginner Surf Lesson is a Teen/Adult class – for ages 13 years to 99 years.
